Custom Training Plans and One-on-One Coaching

I have been coaching runners and triathletes since 2001, but I am best known as the author of RACING WEIGHT, 80/20 RUNNING, and numerous other books for endurance athletes. I have a consistent track record of helping runners and triathletes of all experience and ability levels achieve their goals by avoiding common mistakes such as getting stuck in the "moderate-intensity rut." I offer two levels of services through Final Surge:

Think of this service as coaching light, or an affordable alternative to full one-on-one coaching. Here's how it works: First, you contact me to express your interest in a custom training plan. When you do, please be sure to specify whether you're a runner or a triathlete. I will then send you a questionnaire to fill out and return to me at your convenience. On the basis of the information you supply, I will create a fully customized training plan that fits your personal goals, preferences, needs, and constraints. The entire plan will be delivered at one time on the Final Surge platform for you to follow on your own. The cost of this service is $15 per week for runners and $20 per week for triathletes and full payment is require up front regardless of the length of the plan.

If you wish to hire me as your personal running or triathlon coach, I will first get to know through a written questionnaire and an initial Skype/FaceTime or phone consultation. I will then deliver workouts to you in one- to two-week blocks through Final Surge. I will monitor your training on a daily basis and check in with you once a week via email, Skype, FaceTime, or phone to hear how you're doing and gather any additional information I need in order to prescribe your next block of training. You may email me with questions as often as you like. The cost of this service is $400 per month for runners and $500 per month for triathletes, and billing occurs monthly. There is no long-term commitment.
