This plan is for a high schooler looking to run 11:00 in the 2 mile. The athlete should come in running at least 30 miles/week. The first week will be a soft introduction to work outs and will build from 38 miles/week to a max of 46 miles/week. This plan has athletes running every day of the week. If the athlete feels their body is not capable of running every day, one recovery day can be swapped with a cross training day.
